2010 Recycling Survey Results
WMU Recycling Center
We are having issues in the recycling center with people not reading the signs.

It is VERY important to place items in the correct bins to eliminate contamination.
  • Telephone books can be placed in the newspaper bin. The front & back covers need to be removed.
  • Cardboard needs to be broken down and placed in the bin. Do not place on top of the bin.
  • NO BAGS- NO PLASTIC BAGS IN ANY OF THE BINS. If you wish to recycle the plastic bags they can be taken to Kroger or Wal-Mart. Otherwise they can be discarded in the curbits provided for garbage.

WMU Voluntary Recycling Center on Maple Street is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

The recycling center is locating behind WMU's Main Office at 150 N. Main Street; however, it is only accessible from the WMU N. Maple Street entrance.

Any question please call 859-744-1170
