General Information

Winchester Municipal Utilities is located at 150 North Main Street, Winchester, Kentucky.  WMU currently serves over 11,000 customers in Winchester and Clark County.

WMU operates as an enterprise fund of the city of Winchester.  WMU's raw (untreated) water sources are the Kentucky River and the Carroll E. Ecton Reservoir.

In addition to providing water service, WMU treats an average of 4.0 million gallons of wastewater and collects and transports an average of 66 tons of solid waste for landfill disposal per day.
